Hi all my name is Brent and it is my first time on a bonsai forum! I have a question about soil choice for Yamadori, I have recently gathered a couple of trees from the wild for Yamadori but I wasn't sure if it was alright to use regular potting soil when potting them? I have one cedar and I believe one is a type of pine or juniper. Both are in grow boxes that I made and I used regular miracle grow potting soil to pot them. Just wondering if this will make a difference with the health of the tree??? I hope someone with knowledge of this can help me with my question! Thanks
