Hi. This is my first post- I'm not usually very chatty. I am, however, very happy to find this resource as I'm always happy to learn from others. Perhaps someday I'll have something to give back but for now I'm just starting out. Where I live we are surrounded by trees and I'm hoping to have some success with native species (has anyone ever tried WHITE BIRCH by the way?)

Always happy when new people join:). Yes white birch trees as bonsia's look soo cool. You really should experiment or if you have a bonsai shop near your town check them out to give you ideas on how to create your own.
