Does anyone use this for there trees? If so do you get any special kits they offer?

I bought 10 bald cyprus trees last year from them, and put them in a nursery area for a year. I finally put them in the ground 2 weeks ago. I only lost one so far. The rest is doing great. I think i'm going to get 10 more and try to bonsi them. I think they would be good lookin.

Dan, about how tall and what was their trunk width would you estimate on arrival? I was considering doing the same because I really like bald cypress.

They were all fresh starts when I received them, bare root, with some kind of moisture jell on them for shipping. They grow fast, I kept them in an Earth box as a nursery for a year till I figured out where to plant them. A couple of them grew over a half inch at the base during that year. I think they would make a good forest. Any larger than you would have to go to nursery Check out wigerts bonsai.com

I found out the arbor day foundation only ships twice a year (spring and fall) and I missed spring. Luckily I found a grower in the backwoods of Florida that shipped me 5. I plan on using these guys for landscaping instead of bonsai though, but we'll see =)
